Market scope
Only U.S.-market manual Porsche 991.2, 992.1 and 992.2 GT3 Touring models are included. Winged GT3s, PDK cars and unrelated variants are excluded.
Data range
Daily listing collection began September 16, 2026. The transaction archive was backfilled with verified auction sales and reserve-not-met high bids from the prior two years, so historical auction coverage begins before daily retail tracking.
Asks are not sales
Dealer and private listings are marketplace asks. Completed auction results are verified sales. Reserve-not-met results are high bids without a sale. These populations are stored and presented separately.
Headline values are medians. Displayed aggregates include their sample size and lead to the contributing vehicle or transaction records.
Exit is not sale
- Sold — verified: a transaction is confirmed.
- Exited — outcome unknown: a listing disappeared without a confirmed transaction.
- Withdrawn / RNM: a known non-sale.
Days to exit and days to verified sale are never used interchangeably.
Clearing gap
The clearing gap is the median marketplace asking price minus the observed median auction sale for the same generation. It is descriptive, not causal. Specification, mileage and timing differences can affect the result.
Data confidence
Verified records have confirmed VIN, model, transmission, price and status. Partial records have missing or inferred fields. Review records contain a potential misclassification and are excluded from headline calculations until resolved.
PTS and non-PTS remain separate. The raw price difference is labeled “observed PTS difference,” not premium.
Updates
The site refreshes from the source workbook daily at 9:00 AM Eastern. A failed validation retains the prior verified snapshot rather than publishing incomplete data. Historical snapshots are not overwritten.
